Air France pilots have called off plans to strike daily between May 3 and May 30.

Unionized air traffic controllers in Italy postponed a nationwide strike slated to occur 1230-1630 May 3 at governmental request. A future date for the strike has not yet been announced.

Passengers at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport and area residents might notice unusual activity this weekend. Emergency crews will be responding to a simulated aircraft accident Saturday as part of an emergency planning exercise. The drill is not expected to affect normal airport operations.
