A minority pilot union has announced a strike for January 10-13, and the major ground staff union has announced strike action effective Jan 28. Flight disruptions may occur though the overall impact is expected to be minimal.

To mark the January 2015 attacks in Paris a large national ceremony led by the French President at Place de la République will be held at 11am on Sunday 10 January. Extensive and additional security measures will be in place around these commemorative events.

Some airport personnel in Rome Airports will be on strike for 8 hours on January 25, from 10:00 to 18:00.
