United States – Winter Storm New Mexico, Kansas
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for all Kansas counties west of Wichita. Rain, sleet, freezing rain, and light snow are expected as a strong cold front moves through the region. Ice accumulations could result in hazardous driving conditions on important highways, including portions of I-35, I-135, I-335, and I-70. A winter storm watch is in effect for northeastern New Mexico, and additional advisories for freezing rain and sleet could be issued for eastern New Mexico, the Texas Panhandle and other parts of West Texas southward to I-10, and much of Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City and Tulsa, through Nov. 24.
