Italy – Railway Personnel Strike

Railway personnel will stage a 24-hour strike 2100 April 12 through 2100 April 13, affecting rail maintenance and logistics services, as well as routes on rail networks of Trenitalia, Trenord, and high-speed rail company NTV. Delays and cancellations on long-distance trains as well as on commuter and regional train services are possible. Although the industrial action will certainly result in transport disruptions across the country, Italian law requires transportation companies to maintain a minimum level of service during strikes, particularly during rush hours.
