An estimated 3 million Brazilians and 600,000 foreigners will travel throughout Brazil during the World Cup, June 12 to July 13, likely overburdening Brazil’s already congested airports, highways, and public transportation systems. Expect ground traffic disruptions, flight delays and cancellations, and long customs lines at airports. Localized power outages may also occur around stadiums in some cities.
