Norway – Baggage Handler Strike in Oslo

Unionized baggage handlers at Oslo’s Gardermoen Airport announced plans to strike as of June 3. The strike by around 400 workers could result in flight delays or even cancellations unless mediation averts the strike. Mediation is not scheduled to begin until 1000 June 2; the deadline is midnight June 2 to avoid the strike. The baggage handlers serve all airlines and flights.
