Bali – Balinese New Year Silence

Balinese New Year will take place on March 21, 2015. Ngurah Rai International Airport will be closed for all incoming and outgoing flights from 6 a.m. on March 21 to 6 a.m. on March 22. While transit flights will be allowed to fly, passengers who are in transit during this period are required to stay inside the airport. Locals and tourists are required to observe 24 hours of silence, remain indoors, make no noise and turn off all lights.
