Spain – Rail Strike

The Spanish Union of Train Drivers and Railway Workers has called on workers employed by the National Rail Network to stage a series of 24-hour strikes on Sept. 4, 11, 14 and 15 to protest working conditions. Service levels will likely vary by location, but are unlikely to be crippling as Spanish labor laws require that a minimum level of service be available during the stoppage.
