Is there a limit to how many times a ticket can be exchanged?
While there is no limit to the number of times a ticket can be exchanged, in almost all cases the ticket will expire one year from the date of original issue. Airline policies vary as to whether the travel must occur within that year, or if the ticket must be exchanged within that year though the new travel dates could be later. There is also the matter of the airline’s change fee. For domestic tickets most airlines take a $200 penalty out of the value of the ticket for each exchange. Too many exchanges and you may find you have no value left. For questions about the validity of your specific ticket please contact your Travel-On agent.
