China – Severe Air Pollution in Beijing

Severe air pollution is forecast in Beijing, Tianjin, and areas of northern China from March 16 through at least March 19. The most severe pollution will be in Beijing and the greater capital region and could exceed the US State Department’s “hazardous” level. Air quality conditions are expected to moderate sometime between March 19-20.
