Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Use/Charging Banned

American, Delta, and United have implemented bans on operating or charging the recently recalled Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones on their aircraft. At issue is a series of faulty batteries in the Note 7 that make them prone to overheating and explosion. To minimize the risk, air carriers ask passengers to turn off phones affected by the recall during flight and leave them unplugged.
