Italy – Earthquake
A series of quakes and aftershocks measuring to 6.1 have struck central Italy. Light-to-moderate shaking was felt in cities nationwide, including Bologna, Florence, Perugia, Rome, and Venice. There were no immediate reports of casualties following the aftershock, but emerging information suggests that two people were injured by falling debris in the municipality of Visso during the initial tremor. Additional aftershocks are likely.
