Electronics Ban – Partial Lifting

As of July 5, Etihad, Emirates, and Turkish Airlines passengers were permitted to bring laptops, tablets, cameras, e-readers, electronic game units larger than a smartphone, travel printers/scanners, and DVD players into the cabin. Mobile phones and medical devices were exempt from the original ban. The electronics travel ban remains in place for US-bound flights originating at seven other airports: Cairo, Amman, Kuwait, Casablanca, Doha, Jeddah, and Riyadh.
