United States – Flood Conditions Continue to Disrupt Midwest

Parts of the Mississippi, Illinois, and Wabash rivers will remain above flood stage through at least April 28 with riverside communities in Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana continuing to experience flood-related transportation and commercial disruptions. Businesses may not operate at full capacity for an extended period because of damage to facilities, inoperable support infrastructure, and some employees’ inability to reach work sites. Driving may be hazardous on secondary roads in eastern Missouri, northwestern and eastern Illinois, western Indiana, and southeastern Iowa due to standing water.
