Mexico – Popocatepetl Spews

Mexican authorities have issued a Yellow Phase 3 alert, the third level of seven, for Mt. Popocatepetl, near Mexico City. Shelters have been prepared for 11,000 people should they be needed though this is unexpected. This is one of the most active volcanoes, spewing ash almost daily. Presently there is no impact to air traffic.
