Egypt – Nationwide Demonstrations on June 30

The US Department of State has stated that it will temporarily close the US Embassy in Cairo on June 30 due to planned nationwide demonstrations staged by the opposition Tamarod group on that day. Other foreign embassies have urged their citizens in Egypt to exercise caution on June 30, and may also close their diplomatic facilities or otherwise restrict access on that date as well.
