Transport workers have announced a general, 24-hour nationwide strike June 16. It will affect air and maritime traffic, train and local transportation services.

Airport security personnel represented by the Aviation and Airport Workers’ Union plan to stage a rolling nationwide work-to-rule labor action in Portugal from June 3-Oct. 1.
