China – Pollution Warnings

While improving, severe air pollution and periods of dense fog are forecast to continue in several areas of Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang provinces in northeast China through at least Nov. 14. The government is advising people in the affected regions, particularly the elderly, children, and those with respiratory and cardiovascular illness, to avoid strenuous exercise or going outdoors during this time. Flight disruptions remain possible at airports in northeast China.
