France – Marches, Mass Protest in Central Paris

Conservative activists plan to stage multiple protest marches and a mass demonstration in central Paris on May 26 to protest a new law legalizing same-sex marriage and adoption. Protesters will rally at Porte Dauphine, Porte de Saint Cloud, and Place Valhubert, beginning at 1400 and then stage marches to a central undisclosed protest site. Participation will be very high at the protests, and may total in the hundreds of thousands. Expect increased security and traffic disruptions near demonstrations sites and along the march routes.
