London – Tube Strike

Thousands of London Tube workers, including station staff and train operators, are set to stage a 72-hour strike starting 2100 May 5. The strike will likely cause severe delays across the London Underground system and reduce Tube service by around 50 percent. Although transport system operator Transport for London will significantly increase bus services during the strike period, the industrial action will likely paralyze public transport throughout the city through early May 9.
