Philippines – APEC Summit

Manila will host the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit of leaders and senior officials of 21 member economies from November 16-20, 2015. Road closures and security checkpoints may cause additional delays. Expect a significantly heightened security presence across the city, and closure of government offices and businesses. Check with your airline in advance of travel to or from Manila around these dates, as flight delays may occur. Avoid protests or demonstrations, follow the instructions of local security officials and monitor local media for any developments during this period.
