South Korea – Doctor’s Strike
Nearly half of South Koreas’s 70,000 doctors are expected to take part in a nationwide walkout on March 10 to protest several proposed contentious medical policies. The action will probably result in non-emergency cases being turned away from many medical facilities, though emergency cases might still be accepted. As a result, extremely long queues will likely form at facilities not participating in the strike. Strike participants could also stage demonstrations in major cities, especially Seoul.
